Pixie Lott took a backseat in the spotlight last night as she watched her beloved boyfriend, model Oliver Cheshire, host The Global Gift Gala presented by Sheeva Jewellery at the ME Hotel in London. The singer rocked up to Eva Longoria’s star-studded event to support the charity auction which raised over £400,000.

And while Victoria Beckham stole the headlines for her surprise appearance, Pixie and Oliver have been racking up column inches for chatting about just how devoted they are to each other. While whispers are circulating that the pair could tie the knot in the near future, what we really wanted to know, was when the pair are planning on working together…

With our exclusive Access All Areas pass at last night’s event, we caught up with both young stars to talk fame, love, and exciting career steps. Dressed in a stunning pastel pink Moschino dress, with metallic pink Dior shoes, a seriously cool Chanel phone case and 18ct diamond white gold and pearl Yoko London earrings, Pixie told us: ‘I’m really excited, I think it’s going to be a fun evening.’ And as for Oliver’s presenting gig? She added: ‘Ah I’m so happy! I am, I just can’t wait to see him up there.’

We grilled Pixie on whether she could see herself and Oliver hooking up for a steamy Burberry-style ad like Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge. She told us: ‘Oh they looked great, Ollie’s a great model and obviously I’m with Select Models but I don’t know. I love so many brands, it’s unreal, like all the brands I’m wearing tonight are definitely top up there on my list [to work with].

So would she be happy to share the spotlight with him? ‘Obviously, he’s my boyfriend, but he does really well by himself. He’s doing a really great job and I’m focussing more on – like I always will be – my music, so that’s always going to be my number one.

‘My new album’s out next year and it’s all finished so everyone’s going to hear the new single really soon and see the new video and the new photos. Because it’s a new sound – it’s more influenced from soul music – I wanted to make more of a statement and not do any more collaborations coming back. I did quite a lot on my last album. [Ollie] really likes it. He might be a bit biased but he really likes it. That’s what he said, anyway!’

Pixie Lott has enjoyed success in the UK achieving a number one single and double platinum album sales, but it’s not enough for the popstar.

The 22-year-old, who appear on the next issue of Fiasco magazine, wants to crack America and play Madison Square Gardens like music legends before her.

In the accompanying interview she said: ‘The goal is to release this album in America definitely.’

She then added: ‘America is massive but I’m up for touring and seeing everywhere. I haven’t released there at all and (want to) play shows at Madison Square Garden. You gotta go for it!’

The singer has just finished filming her the new video for her next single which has surfaced online and the track itself is said to be called ‘Nasty’.

She tweeted after the shoot on Thursday: ‘Ahhhh loved today! Thank you sooo much everyone for all your hard work and hours :O!!! Can’t wait to see it #excited #ahhh.”

Talking to Fiasco she explains her as-yet-untitled third studio album, expected to follow in 2014, sees her going in a slightly different direction than her first two records.

She said: ‘My previous albums have been a mishmash but this is completely all that Motown sound and it gives me the opportunity to sing more, which is great’

And the Pixie confesses her new musical offering is very close to her heart.

She said: ‘My favourite songs are always ballads, I love singing them, listening to them. There’s one song that’s really personal.

‘My Nan passed away last year and I wrote about her, I’m going to be crying my eyes out every time I sing it.’

Her new single ‘Nasty’ was originally recorded by Christina Aguilera as a duet with Cee Lo Green for her Burlesque movie though was never officially released.

‘It’d be quite cool to get another No.1,’ pixie added. ‘It would be cool if that happened again but I don’t want to put pressure on myself.

But despite her ambition Pixie insists she doesn’t have a life plan. ‘Nah, I don’t have a plan like that. I just know what I want to achieve – to go for it until I can’t any more.’

Lott’s previous LP Young Foolish Happy peaked at number 18 in the UK in 2011 and spawned the number one single ‘All About Tonight’ and top ten hits ‘What Do You Take Me For?’ and ‘Kiss The Stars’.

Pixie Lott may call her boyfriend Oliver Cheshire her ‘first true love’ but she admits she is in no rush to tie the knot with the M&S model.

The 22-year-old believes she is still far too young to think about walking down the aisle despite her beau making no secret of his desire to marry her.

‘I still think we’re really young,’ she told Guilty Pleasures in an exclusive chat at the Ten Green Bottles by Gordon’s & Temperley Event in London on Wednesday.

‘We’ve been together three years now. He’s my first true love, he’s my first serious boyfriend, but I’m only 22 so I do still think that’s too young.’

The Love You To Death singer has been busy in the studio working on her new album for the last few years which she admits has given her time to grow her relationship.

‘I’ve been in London, New York and Miami but I’ve been in London a lot so I’ve been at home every night so I’ve got to see him loads,’ she gushed about her chiselled 25-year-old boyfriend.

Lott admits it’s hard to keep a relationship going when she’s on tour but says her man is worth making the effort for.

She said: ‘When you start the promo stuff, when you’re doing different things you know, you have different wake-up times you’re in different countries, that’s when it’s harder but there’s always Skype.

‘Whenever I was away for a long time, like I was in New York for a couple of months making the album, we would Skype all the time and when I went to Miami he came out with me.

‘You make it work and I always think if you like someone you make the time.’

The Kent-raised singer is gearing up for her musical comeback after finishing work on her third album, due for release early next year, and says she has been lucky to have control over her career.

She told us: ‘I’ve never felt pressured (to do anything I didn’t want to do). As you get older you learn more and mature so you have more of a sense of what you want to do. If I didn’t want to do anything I’d definitely say no, I’d 100% put my foot down if I wasn’t comfortable.’
