Millionaire’s daughter Jenna Grabiner had a surprise for guests at her 18th birthday party – a gig by chart-topper Pixie Lott.

Excited teenagers packed a Scots club to celebrate the big day with Jenna, daughter of fashion boss Ian Grabiner.

But they could not have expected the No1 star’s appearance, which insiders said would have cost about £70,000.

Guests had to wear a yellow wristband to guarantee them entry to the party at the Maccabi Centre, a Jewish social club in Giffnock, near Glasgow.

They had been told to come dressed in beach wear and the building had been decked out in palm trees and a sign saying “Jenna’s Surf Club”.

Amazing Jenna’s Facebook page was yesterday bombarded with messages of thanks from her guests.

One friend wrote: “Thank you so much for an incredible night.

“Had an amazing time, hope you enjoyed yourself too.

“Dying today though but it’s so worth it. Love You.”

Another added: “Thank you so much for last night. Don’t think anyone will be able to top that party!”

In a reference to the star attraction’s newest single, Jenna posted: “Thank you all the Boys And Girls who made last night SO special.”

Pixie Lott has admitted that she had to stand her ground when she joined the X Factor judging panel in Birmingham.

In a preview clip, shown during last Saturday’s episode, the Turn It Up singer was seen being told off by Louis Walsh for saying ‘No’ to an act that he liked.

“I was just honest and said what I thought,” she told The Sun.

Simon Cowell defended the singer against Walsh, telling him: “Louis, she has got her own opinion.”

Lott told the paper that she thought it was “really nice” of him to defend her decision.

“I’m used to being auditioned rather than auditioning people, so I had a lot of sympathy,” she said. “I think it’s important you say what you think, otherwise there’s no point being on the panel.”

She added: “You’ve got to add a little something. It was good fun and I’d love to do it again.”

Pixie Lott is finally set to escape life at home with Mum and Dad after splashing out on a love nest.

The strait-laced pop babe snapped up a one-bedroom apartment in east London so she can party hard and enjoy some private time with new model fella Oliver Cheshire, 22.

A close friend of the Mama Do hitmaker, 19, told us: “Pixie’s been wanting to move out of her mum and dad’s for ages and now things are going so well with Oliver she thought it was the perfect time.

“She thinks renting is a waste of money so she’s bought a gorgeous apart­­ment in Shoreditch as a gift to herself for all of her hard work over the last year.

“She is massively excited and can’t wait to finally move in next week.

“She thinks Shoreditch is the coolest place to be at the moment and also knows it’s not that far if she wants to pop back to Essex to see her parents.”

Pixie Lott has admitted that she will probably be too embarrassed to watch herself on The X Factor.

The 19 year old star stood in for pregnant judge Dannii Minogue at the Cardiff auditions earlier this year and she previously admitted that she loves watching the early audition shows.

“My favourite part is always the early auditions, when you get to see all the different characters. There are so many classic moments – I love it!” she explained.

However in a chat with The Daily Star, Pixie admitted that she would probably give her own debut a miss.

She said:

“I think I’ll probably be too embarrassed to watch it. But I will definitely support the artists that I help to put through.”
