The ‘All About Tonight’ singer told Capitalfm.com that she is also pleased to see such an array of UK boy bands and solo performers making an impact in the business.

She explained: “I’ll always love my pop divas. I mean I love Beyonce, I love Rihanna, I love independent women who love girl power – they also inspire me.

“But then I love still male voices like James Morrison and then the boy bands are doing really well at the minute. So, we’ve got The Wanted, we’ve got JLS, we’ve got One Direction and they’re all doing amazingly.”

Pixie also picked out such artists as Ed Sheeran and Wretch 32 and confessed there is so much room for everyone to do well.

“It’s great that there’s room for everyone to do great. I think there’s some great UK people like Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32, Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk – there’s always great talent coming through,” she added.

Meanwhile, Pixie also recently revealed to Capital that she would love to team up with Coldplay and told us that she will never quit music to pursue a fashion career.

The ‘Mama Do’ star told Capitalfm.com that although she does have a “passion for fashion”, music is the main thing which makes her happy.

She confessed: “Music will always be the main thing just because that’s what makes me happy. That’s what I couldn’t imagine not doing.

“But, I have a passion for fashion so I would love to focus on it more and get more involved in it at some point – just when the time is right.”

The ‘Boys and Girls’ singer also revealed that she is pleased to be able to balance her career ventures.

“Where we’re lucky, I can kind of do my music and have it along the side but I would never be able to stop doing music completely.”

The star has launched her own design collections in the past and is a always mentioned when it comes to modern style icons.

Meanwhile, Pixie released her new single ‘Kiss The Stars’ earlier this week and also told Capitalfm.com that she wants to work with Coldplay in the future.

The star is also nominated for the Best British Single award at the BRIT Awards 2012 for her track ‘All About Tonight’.

The ‘Mama Do’ star revealed that there are “so many” people she wants to work with, but Chris Martin and co are top of the list.

Capital asked the singer if she could pick one band or artist in the world to work with right now who it would be.

She replied: “I’m gonna say Coldplay.”

“I feel really lucky with the collaborations I’ve done on this album ['Young Foolish Happy'] and now I’ve done a couple more and I’ve got a taste for it I definitely want to do more because I think it’s a really fun thing to do.

“So I’m up for doing loads more. The list goes on. There are so many people I’d love to work with.”

The ‘Boys and Girls’ singer also went on to confess that she likes to let collaborations occur as naturally as possible.

“I always think it’s good to do what naturally happens. All the one’s I’ve done have been when nature just took its course and I met the people along the way.”

The ‘All About Tonight’ singer has yet to announce an outing in support of her second studio album ‘Young Foolish Happy’ and is keen to hit the road this year.

“Touring’s my favourite thing ever so I can’t wait to go on tour. Hopefully that will be sometime this year, we haven’t got the dates yet. And, definitely, I want to play some festivals because festivals are so much fun,” she confessed.

The singer’s last outing was during the ‘Crazy Cats’ tour which climaxed in December 2010.

Meanwhile, the star recently performed her new song ‘Kiss The Stars’ on ITV morning show Daybreak yesterday (30th January).
