The single debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number seventy-three on the issue dated 6 September 2009. It moved up to number one the following week making the biggest chart leap in UK history. This is Pixie’s second No1 single. The director of music video was Diane Martel (Britney Spears – 3, Adam Lambert – Whataya Want From Me), and filming was complete on 13 June 2009.

The Boys And Girls singer revealed that she enjoyed meeting the Geordie lass when she stood in for Dannii Minogue earlier this year.

Pixie told The Sun that she had first met Cheryl at the Cardiff auditions on the day before she fell ill with malaria.

She said: “I was there the day before she collapsed.

“She was so lovely. She’s beautiful, and up close she’s just so pretty.”

Pixie added: “It was so nice spending time with them and getting to know them a bit.”

Lott also told the newspaper that she had been “scared” by Shirlena Johnson’s controversial audition.

She added: “I’ve never seen anything like it.

“I was watching it with my dad thinking, ‘Oh my word, there are people like that in this world’.”
