The singer wrote ‘We Own the Night’ which was recorded by Selena Gomez and the Scene for her last album, ‘When the Sun Goes Down’, and although they have yet to meet, Pixie is glad they worked together.

Speaking at the recent MTV Titanic Sounds concert in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Pixie exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “I’ve never met Selena Gomez before, but she sounds really good on the song and she seems like a lovely girl.

“She seems to have such a zest for life, so I emailed her and said, ‘Thanks for recording the song,’ and she emailed back saying, ‘No worries, that’s fine, thanks!’”

Pixie has previously written tracks recorded by Alexandra Burke and Girls Can’t Catch, but also for artists further afield, such as Dutch winner of ‘The X Factor’ Lisa Lois and Asian girl group Girl’s Generation.

She added: “I only have 12 songs on my album, so all the ones I write that don’t make it get sent off by my publishers and luckily some of them get picked up. A lot of them are hits in other countries like Belgium or Holland, so most people in the UK don’t know about them.”

Pixie’s performance at MTV Titanic Sounds will be shown in the UK on MTV music on May 5.

Pixie Lott could never have an open relationship.

The ‘Kiss The Stars’ singer is currently dating model Oliver Cheshire and she says being faithful to each other is very important to her and insists the romance would be over as soon as one of them wanted to be with someone else.

She said: “It’s 100 per cent important to be faithful. I don’t believe in open relationships If you want to be with someone else, you shouldn’t be in a relationship in the first place.”

Pixie has been dating Oliver for two years and says she’s very happy with him, although has no plans to move in with him in the near future.

She said: “It’s the longest and most serious relationship I’ve ever had. We’re happy with how it’s going.

“We’ve decided not to move in together. But he usually stays at mine anyway. If he lived on the other side of London, I’d hardly see him because of work. But he might be moving to the other side of London! He lives with his best friend, who’s moving there. We’ll have to wait to see what happens.

“I guess our romance will be tested when he moves, but I’m sure we’ll be able to cope.”

Pixie Lott has revealed that she has unwittingly become a lesbian pin-up.

The singer, who is dating model Oliver Cheshire, revealed floods of female fans have begged her to sleep with them and sign their chests.

“Most of the propositions I get are from girl fans. They go mad for me,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“They turn up at gigs and signings with banners and say, ‘Can you go on a date with me?’ There’s loads of them,” she said.

Pixie was mobbed by fans before singing at MTV’s Titanic Sounds gig in Belfast on Friday along with Olly Murs, Rizzle Kicks, Katy B and Sean Paul.

“It was mad outside my hotel. Girls were throwing themselves in front of my car,” she said.

“One burst into tears then lifted her top. She had ‘I Love You Pixie’ written on her boobs. Madness,” she added.

The Jamaican singer is performing at the MTV event in Northern Island, and thinks Pixie – who is also on the bill – would be an ideal replacement to sing the part recorded by Alexis Jordan on his single ‘Got 2 Luv U’.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “Pixie Lott is somebody I’ve been following. I usually just let the crowd sing that out, but it wouldn’t hurt if Pixie Lott came out on stage for it. She’s very cute.

“I’ve never met her but I’ve been following her on Twitter for a little while now. I was only introduced other music recently, so it’s going to be interesting to actually meet her.”

Paul has been travelling across Europe promoting his new album ‘Tomahawk Technique’, and believes he challenged himself with this album more than he has previously.

He added: “Over the last 16 years I’ve been proving all over the world that you can be a success with dancehall music, but I don’t want people to put me in a box, so it has to be an evolution and I incorporate new sounds, like dance music. On this album I challenged myself a lot more.”

The Titanic Sounds concert, features Sean, Pixie, Olly Murs, Rizzle Kicks and Katy B performing at the new Titanic Belfast tourist attraction. It has been staged in collaboration with Belfast City Council and Northern Ireland Tourist Board, and will be shown as ‘MTV Presents Titanic Sounds’ on MTV music in the UK on May 5.

Pixie Lott has urged her fans to go and see Rihanna’s acting debut in the new sci-fi epic Battleship.

The ‘Kiss The Stars’ singer hailed the ‘We Found Love’ singer’s first film appearance in Peter Berg’s latest offering, which stars Rihanna as a “badass” Naval weapons officer called Raikes.

“Everyone go see action packed #battleship,” Pixie tweeted last night (3rd April). “Loved it last night, @rihanna was so goood! xXx.”

Pixie attended the world premiere of Battleship in Japan at the start of this week, which saw Rihanna join fellow cast members including Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch in Tokyo.

The world premiere also marked one of Rihanna’s first appearances with her newly dyed black hair, after sporting a blonde hair do for the past few months.
