Chart topper Pixie Lott says she ‘can’t wait’ to perform in Derry next week.

The singer-songwriter will wow the audience at the Peace One Day concert at Ebrington Square on June 21.

She be joined on stage by Imelda May, Newton Faulkner, Guillemots and Derry’s own Wonder Villains.

Meanwhile, Hollywood heart throb Jude Law will fly into the city to host the event.

Pixie Lott says she’s really excited to be part of the Ebrington Square gig: “It’s a great opportunity for the entire city to come together and celebrate. I have heard that Derry crowds are fantastic so I can’t wait to get on stage and perform.”

Jeremy Gilley, founder of Peace One Day, added: “We can’t wait for the concert to begin. We have put together an incredible lineup and have some fantastic surprises happening on the night of the gig. This is an incredible opportunity to celebrate the launch of the London 2012 Festival in Northern Ireland and be part of something really special.”
